From haute couture to homemakers, removable collars were a way to change the look of a garment without significant costs or fabric in the 1950s and 1960s. The vintage inspired ruffle collar can be added to the Lawson as featured here, the Lawson Cocktail or Lawson dress. It can be sewn in by hand with small stitches to keep in place while wearing. When you want to go back to the regular dress all you have to do is snip the stitches to remove it.

Made from silk-cotton, so the collar is comfortable against your skin.
