About the Founder
Wall Street roots with a love of vintage fashion
Kristen Fanarakis, Founder & Creative Director
Kristen Fanarakis spent nearly thirteen years working on Wall Street before launching Senza Tempo. She worked on the foreign exchange trading desk for firms such as: Merrill Lynch and Citibank in New York City. She later went on to work at a university think tank as the assistant director at the Center for Financial Policy, Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland in Washington, D.C.
She grew up in North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.A.) and its Kenan-Flagler School of Business (M.B.A.). She also holds an M.S. in International Economics.
She grew up watching old movies with her grandmother, which created a love of vintage and classic fashion.
She now lives in Charleston, SC with her rescue Shih-Tzus Kassie from Los Angeles and Key from Chicago.
